Dr Jacob de Looze
Dr Jacob de Looze is a qualified Oral and Maxillofacial surgeon. Graduating medical school from the University of Newcastle, he completed five years of hospital training with a focus on surgery and emergency medicine including a year working in major hospitals in the United Kingdom. He then returned to Australia, completing his dental degree in Queensland. Following this, he completed the four year training program in Oral and Maxillofacial surgery that took him across Australia. Dr de Looze values professional development and has undertaken post fellowship training in Head and Neck Oncology and Temporomandibular Joint Replacement surgery as well as now actively engaging in the training of future surgeons through his public hospital appointments. In his public practice he treats complex facial fractures and soft tissue trauma, jaw pain, head and neck cancer, corrective jaw surgery and facial reconstruction, management of skin lesions and cancers. Privately he has admitting rights in several hospitals to be able to provide the full scope of his services as well as providing in rooms local anaesthetic treatments for dental extractions and implants. He works closely with dentists, orthodontists, and general practitioners to provide expedited treatment to his patients.

With consulting rooms located near Westfield Carindale in Carina Heights and a branch practice in Ipswich, we accomodate patients from both the south and west of Brisbane. Our rooms allow for consultation and local anaesthetic procedures.
We also have theatre lists in private hospitals for general anaesthetic procedures.
